Sometimes you want to open a window without worrying about curtains, blinds, high-standing taps – or ornaments that happen to be sitting on the sill. That’s one advantage of the Lorimer Reversible window type, which swings outward through 180°, effortlessly. Anti-slam hinges and a built-in restrictor mean the window stays open and secure at just the angle you want.
Each Lorimer Reversible window comes with an internal sill and surrounds in a choice of finishes. There are our hardwood options – Natural Ash, American Cherry, Royal Oak and Far Eastern Mahogany. Each hardwood is hand-finished in varnish or wax as standard. We can alternatively offer an engineered wood, finished in brilliant white if this would suit your home better.
As with all our window types, you can choose smart white uPVC which will never yellow, or any one from a range of colours and finishes, inside and out. Reversible windows in bright white can make your room look bigger, while traditional Rosewood, American Light Oak or Anthracite Grey woodgrain finishes gives a richer, more opulent effect.
As with all our window types, Every Lorimer reversible window is built to order at our own manufacturing plant in Fife, Scotland. That means you can specify beautiful details including leading, stained glass and ornate astragals. We also offer a wide choice of handles in different colours and finishes.
