No, we’ll do that on your behalf. Any development over 8m² will need a building warrant and the relevant fee is driven by the overall cost of the new space.
The requirement for planning permission is dependent on where your proposed extension is going to be situated and if you have had work done to your house in the past.
We’ll also advise of any additional information that can be requested by the council such as structural engineer’s reports, coal reports or listed building consent.
We normally estimate that it’ll take around 8 – 10 weeks to be granted local authority consent, however this is driven by your relevant local authority.
We offer a turnkey service and will be on site from start to finish – the length of build is really dependent on your design.
