Slim, shapely and elegant, our Lorimer Casement window is the most popular and versatile type in our range. It looks great inside and out, in traditional properties or cutting-edge contemporary homes.
For a really unique appearance, each can be designed with equal sightlines, to give a symmetrical appearance both inside and out, whether the window has an opening sash, a fixed pane or a combination of both.
Our Casement windows feature a multi-point locking system, as well as locking handles.
Your Lorimer Casement windows come with internal sills and surrounds, like the beautiful frame on a fine picture. Choose from our selection of hardwoods – Natural Ash, American Cherry, Royal Oak, and Far Eastern. The hardwood sills and surrounds are hand-finished in varnish or wax. We can alternatively offer an engineered wood, finished in brilliant white if this would suit your home better.
As with all our window types, you can choose smart white uPVC which will never yellow, or any one from a range of colours and finishes, inside and out. Casement windows in bright white can make your room look bigger,
while traditional rosewood or light oak woodgrain finishes gives a richer, more opulent effect.
What is uPVC double glazing?
Double glazing is the term used to describe two panes of glass within a frame, fitted to reduce the loss of heat and reduce noise. Traditionally, windows were single-glazed until the late 1970s. The CR Smith Lorimer window uses the latest double glazing technology that is available on the market today.
