Our expertise.

Having been in business continually for over 45 years, there’s not much we haven’t seen or done when it comes to home improvements.

In that time CR Smith has built up an unrivalled range of specialist skills and experience across every department, with a number of colleagues having worked with us for over 10, 20 or even 30 years. All have a shared purpose – to seamlessly project manage your new home improvement from start to finish, so it is a simple and stress-free experience for you.

Our commitment to training and development.

Continuous training is a priority across CR Smith, both for our office-based colleagues as well as those working in-field.

Every year CR Smith runs its own apprenticeship programme that has been specially tailored to meet company standards. It combines the certified Modern Apprenticeship in Site Carpentry and Joinery, and bespoke company modules on customer service, teamwork and product-specific skills.

Furthermore, CR Smith supports the ongoing development of its colleagues with the opportunity to study for practical qualifications such as IOSH, as well as postgraduate degrees and masters.
