New Double Glazed Lorimer Gullwing Conservatory, Tillicoultry
Tillicoultry is one of the Hillfoots villages, situated at the southern base of the Ochil Hills in Clackmannanshire. It enjoys spectacular scenery and also benefits from the river Devon which lies to the South.
It was previously an industrial mecca, because of its position on the river, with textile mills and coal mines remaining the biggest employers until the first half of the 20th century. Tillicoultry is now a popular commuter town and is probably best known for its large retail outlets.
The majority of properties are newer in style, however no matter the age of your home, it is crucial to use the right design of window or living space to actually add to its value and kerb appeal. So when CR Smith went to visit Dr Brown, he wanted to update the conservatory we had built for him many years earlier.
Benefitting from raised views across the countryside, Dr Brown was looking for a 21st century upgrade. The smart Gullwing shape maximises floor area while its two cut corners add interest to the shape. And given our Lorimer specification includes a self-cleaning Smartglass roof, Lorimer windows and Climate Control™ system, a modern finish comes as standard.
Dr Brown said “I’m stunned by how perfect the climate of the conservatory has become. Never too cold or too warm, the room is fantastic.”
If you’re looking to bring your conservatory up to date, look no further than CR Smith. We pride ourselves in offering the most cutting edge home improvements, fitted and installed by skilled joiners. Call now to find out more.
