I needed new windows, as the double glazing in most windows had blown with condensation between the panes. I also required a new front door and surround. I live in Sutherland and there are quite a few companies installing new windows for my area. I was most impressed with the representative of CR Smith, who came to my address and I had also seen him at their Inverness showroom. The fitter in charge was local and was a charming person and did a great job and tidied up at the end of the day. I was very impressed by the quality of the work carried out. We contacted C R Smith through their agent at B&Q Elgin as we wished to replace two single glazed very tired and dingy french doors for something more appealing and efficient. The assessor was round within a couple of days and gave us an acceptable quote. A week later, we decided to replace an ill fitting, old fashioned double back door. Both jobs were done on the same day a few weeks later. The installers were polite and efficient and left the place tidy after a mornings work and we now have smart and efficient doors which are a pleasure to operate and admire. Had to call a service engineer to make a minor adjustment to the back door a few weeks later after some settlement and he checked both doors while he was here. We are very pleased with our purchase. The quality of the workmanship and service was excellent and we have no hesitation in recommending CR Smith to others.
