Reduces condensation

Older or single-glazed windows can cause condensation, especially during Kingussie’s cooler months. Our double glazing keeps the inside pane warmer, helping to reduce the build-up of moisture and prevent issues like mould and peeling paint.

See what our Kingussie customers have to say

I got in touch with CR Smith Inverness in August and a week later Brian was over for a visit. He was polite, professional and very helpful – and didn’t even mind coming back the next day as I had changed my mind about the door! Paddy and his team arrived at the start of October to put in my windows and door. They arrived 08.30 and left the place spotless. A week later Ian the painter turned up and did my window sills. Great company, great service, friendly and reliable people. What a difference this has made to my house. I can’t recommend CR Smith enough.

Ali Wilson, Inverness

A truly easy and pleasant experience from start to finish. Had a chat with a rep at B&Q and arranged a visit, not pushy at all. Salesman was great and very knowledgeable, honest quote with nothing hidden. Surveyor visit was just as easy and he explained a couple of additional points and we made a slight change. Installers were great, only took a day and a half to get 6 windows in including 1 really big one. Professional and polite.

Mr & Mrs Kenyon, Inverness

Hassle free from beginning to end, very good customer care and good quality windows and front door. The joiners, plasterer and painter were all professional and quick doing their job. Will definitely recommend this company if you’re thinking of getting new windows and doors in Inverness.

Mr & Mrs Milne, Inverness

We contacted C R Smith through their agent at B&Q Elgin as we wished to replace two single glazed very tired and dingy french doors for something more appealing and efficient. The assessor was round within a couple of days and gave us an acceptable quote. A week later, we decided to replace an ill fitting, old fashioned double back door. Both jobs were done on the same day a few weeks later. The installers were polite and efficient and left the place tidy after a mornings work and we now have smart and efficient doors which are a pleasure to operate and admire. Had to call a service engineer to make a minor adjustment to the back door a few weeks later after some settlement and he checked both doors while he was here. We are very pleased with our purchase. The quality of the workmanship and service was excellent and we have no hesitation in recommending CR Smith to others.
