By cladding the structural posts in the same oak as the new window sills and surrounds, we’ve created a cohesive look across the whole space. To complement their current lifestyle and requirements, Mr and Mrs Sinclair opted for a tilt-and-turn window to the left of the bay, as it not only complies with Scottish Building Regulations but also accommodates their cats. With two indoor Bengal cats, there was a worry about escape if the windows were left open to ventilate the room. However, thanks to the design of the tilt and turn window, Mr and Mrs Sinclair can leave the windows tilted inwards without the concern of their beautiful house cats escaping.
