Kinross Casement Windows Installation

Fife

This beautiful detached home in Kinross has been fully transformed with Lorimer casement windows. Gone are the draughty timber windows, replaced with energy-efficient uPVC windows. The results are fantastic, and the homeowners are delighted.

“From the initial visit to the completion of the project, every staff member was delightful and highly skilled.” – Mrs Horne

Despite regular maintenance, we often find that original timber windows will degrade over time and can start to cause a number of issues. Upon the initial visit to the property from CR Smith, it was evident that the rotting timbers were causing draughts in the home and this was a key concern that the homeowners wanted to address.

Lorimer windows are made-to-measure in our manufacturing centre in Cowdenbeath, Fife. They are energy-A rated as standard for thermal efficiency. The survey measurement process ensures that the bespoke window frames fit snugly with minimal gaps. Our team of expert joiners then completely seal the windows outside and inside to banish any pesky draughts.

The Lorimer casement window was designed to replicate an original timber window, which allows it to complement most styles of houses. Mr & Mrs Horne now benefit from Lorimer’s unique slimline frame to bring in extra light and also heightened security. Our casement windows feature a multi-point locking system, as well as locking handles.

To accompany the dark brown soffits and detailing on the exterior of the property, the homeowners decided on Rosewood uPVC but chose white on the internal to maximise the natural light coming into the home. This is a stark difference from the original dark wood and has really brightened up this Kinross home.

With our own in-house design team, we can truly personalise your windows to suit your taste, from uPVC colour and timber finish to stained glass and ornate astragals. Get in touch today to book your free consultation.

“We are hugely pleased with CR Smith and the fantastic work they’ve done for our home.”
