“I noticed the difference in warmth immediately when my new windows were fitted upstairs. When all the windows were changed it felt much cosier.”

Ore Valley resident, Derran Drive, Cardenden

With around 750 managed properties located throughout Fife, Ore Valley is committed to supporting its local communities to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Quality and performance therefore matter when it comes to the fabric of the buildings to ensure residents feel warm and safe in their homes.

With many existing windows consisting of well-weathered timber frames which required constant maintenance, Ore Valley recognised the positive impact high quality, modern uPVC windows would bring to their residents’ home comfort. CR Smith was appointed to replace these windows as part of the housing association’s ongoing review and maintenance programme.

Now complete, the project has made a huge impression on Ore Valley’s residents, with many taking the time to comment on the significant difference the new windows have made – from a new peacefulness to a greater sense of security. CR Smith is now starting work on the next phase of their maintenance programme.
