“Service to the Association and its residents has been excellent. The experience of CR Smith meant that the practical challenges of replacing windows in Victorian tenement flats were dealt with by the on-site team and resolved as the contract progressed.”

Gordon Barbour, Project Manager, Maryhill Housing Association

Maryhill owns properties in 22 locations in the north west of Glasgow. The properties comprise of tenements, multi-storeys, deck access and new-build properties.

The contract involved the supply and installation of windows and doors to 45 tenement flats which included a very demanding contract performance specification. It was a complex installation that involved working on main roads and in front of shops which required scaffolding to protect walkways.

Our experienced site teams completed the project with high resident satisfaction and the new windows and doors have provided the residents with a significant benefit in terms of practicality and energy performance. Maryhill were pleased that the process went so smoothly and particularly commented on the highly efficient management approach implemented for their project.
