Clydebank Housing Association (CBHA) manages over 1,200 homes in West Dunbartonshire. In a drive to improve energy efficiency and tenant satisfaction, CBHA appointed CR Smith to deliver a multi-phase window and door replacement programme across its housing stock.

The partnership began with over 120 homes upgraded in Phase 1, followed by a second phase covering 130 properties across Crown Avenue, Bannerman Place, Jean Armour Drive and surrounding streets. A third phase is scheduled to begin in November, continuing the successful collaboration.

CR Smith’s site teams have been praised for their professionalism, speed and tenant-friendly approach. Installations were completed with minimal disruption, even during school holidays, with residents noting the efficiency and courtesy of the installers.

CBHA’s Clerk of Works described CR Smith as “the best contractor we’ve ever had on site,” leading to a recommendation to Trafalgar Housing Association. The project has delivered improved comfort, security and energy performance, reinforcing a strong and growing partnership.
