If your home is more traditional, the Victorian design would be the most ideal fit, with its multifaceted front contributing to its magnificent curve. For a more pronounced profile, the three-bell shape is best, with the five-bell model offering a rounded bay front with doors leading to the garden.

Incorporating a new twist on an old style, the Gullwing integrates the large floor area of a Sunlounge with the elegance of the Victorian roof. One of its most notable features is the Gullwing’s unique corner detail, where the corners facing away from the house are angled.
Alternatively, a Half-Gullwing has just one shaped corner, perfect if your home has a high wall alongside it. It is a versatile design and suits most properties, whether they are small or large, single or multi-storey.

Planning permission varies on a case-by-case basis. But if you’re searching for a standard conservatory in your back garden, you shouldn’t need the go-ahead from your local council. The waters become muddier, however, if you live in a listed building, want an extension facing your street or a conservatory that’s larger than standard regulations. No matter what you’re planning, contact your local council for their stance on the matter. The last thing you want is an extension sullied by red tape.
Every conservatory is built with your home in mind, and we’ll change specifications to suit your requests. In a country with a rich heritage like Scotland, we understand that every house has its own unique personality and vintage. But whether it’s a modern masterpiece or a rugged build from the 1930s, we’ve got the styles to match. Edwardian, Victorian, Gullwing and many more designs can be altered from our vast repository and knowledge – and your input will help make the extension unique. If all this sounds a little overwhelming, don’t worry – our friendly specialists will be with you every step of the way to give advice and answer any questions.
Depending on the specifications of your conservatory, prices will vary. To find out about price ranges, get in touch. We’ll supply you with a FREE quote, allowing you to figure out the cost with no commitment.
