West Dunbartonshire is committed to a multi-year, multi-million pound programme with CR Smith to improve its housing and local estates in line with a drive towards greater energy efficiency.

Having been set the target of all homes to have an energy rating of B by 2032, the council, as with many social landlords, is taking a fabric-first approach.

“The quality and performance of the product is very good, which has been reflected by our internal teams, managers and more importantly, our residents. It is clear why the name CR Smith holds such value within the industry.”

Initially, the contract was for the supply only of replacement windows, but due to unavoidable delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the programme was in danger of running behind

schedule. CR Smith’s extensive and adaptable resource allowed us to support the council and offer a fitting service to ensure the programme was delivered on time and on budget.
