Lorimer Casement Windows & Doors
People spend years perfecting their home and when they get it just right, they tend to be nervous about making big changes. It’s understandable then that to some, the prospect of having building work done can be a very nervy time. That’s why at CR Smith we make it our mission to make the building process, big or small, as stress free as possible.
Mr and Mrs Simon of Dalgety Bay bought their home as a nearly new build ten years ago. After taking the time to decorate and modernise the property, the next project that required attention were the windows. They were getting problems with drafts and leaks, and Mrs Simon had seen others with Anthracite grey PVCu windows and liked the look they gave to the property.
The Simon’s made enquiries to other national home improvement companies but decided on CR Smith because the product, price and knowledge of the salesmen was much better than the competition.
They were received to see just how careful our teams were every step of the way – and the “Joiners were fantastic and very efficient, John and Sandy were very clean and very professional”. As construction got underway, the couple were kept up to date at every opportunity and the salesman Stuart even visited during the installation to make sure everything was going okay and to plan.
The new windows have made a dramatic difference to the property, the leaks and drafts are a thing of the past and the Anthracite Grey has really modernised the house. This bold colour will add a stylish and sophisticated look to a property and is complemented with a bright white PVCu finish internally.
Dalgety Bay is a small coastal town in Fife, overlooking the Firth of Forth towards Edinburgh & The Lothians. A fairly new town, it was developed in 1962, two years before the opening of the Forth Bridge.
While the architecture of the town reflects construction by volume house builders, the town is a regular winner of the Best Kept Small Town title. Its rise in population mirrors its rise in popularity as a coastal commuter town for Edinburgh.
