Comrie – Conservatories
Comrie is a village in Perthshire, west of Crieff and sits between Glen Lednock and Glen Artney. A previous winner of the Best Large Village award from Britain in Bloom, Comrie is bright and vibrant and also a conservation village. Near-by, Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, set in the Perthshire hills, houses a variety of exotic and more familiar wildlife.
With its rolling hills and flowing rivers, the village has an abundance of natural space. But unfortunately for the village residents, this bounty of outside space is contrasted by the limited space inside the village’s original properties.
Previously owned by Dr Carrick’s mother, Mr and Dr Carrick’s home was picture perfect. Nestled in the centre of the Perthshire village, the couple’s home was everything they could ask for; but like most village properties – space was at a premium. And after long days keeping the village fighting fit, Dr Carrick needed a space to enjoy a well-deserved rest.
The solution came from one of their friends. Having just had new Lorimer windows fitted, the couple’s companions were more than happy to recommend CR Smith. And with that seal of approval, the Carricks got in touch right away.
“We’re in there every day.”
In a matter of moments the couple had decided on the perfect style of conservatory to make the most of their garden views. Now the construction is complete, the Carricks’ new gable front conservatory is a fantastic addition to the home. “The conservatory is everything we could have asked for, and with CR Smith’s Lorimer Complete service, the space was finished to an immaculate standard. It’s not only comfortable but beautiful too,” said Dr Carrick.
