Wellhouse Housing Association, managing 792 homes in the East End of Glasgow, appointed CR Smith to deliver a comprehensive window and door replacement programme across 58 properties. The project followed a successful pilot and a competitive tendering process, with CR Smith selected for its proven track record in the social housing sector.
The scope included the installation of modern double-glazed units featuring reversible mechanisms for ease of cleaning and maintenance. Frames were finished externally in rosewood effect and internally in clean white, offering a fresh and neutral aesthetic.
CR Smith’s dedicated teams worked closely with tenants to coordinate surveys and fittings, ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication. The project was completed within six weeks, on time and within budget.
