When the Urquhart family began looking to move house, they fell in love with one property that had a significant historical relevance – a converted Mill outbuilding that Mrs Urquhart’s grandfather had at one time worked in.
Over time however, their son began to notice that his curtains would move even if the windows were closed. Either the Urquharts had a ghost or the seals installed during the conversion hadn’t been fitted correctly. Once they got in touch with CR Smith, we were quick to reassure them it was the latter – and that we could help.
Now, not only do the new Lorimer windows give the family peace of mind, but with woodgrain finish and solid oak sills, they’re in keeping with the look of the original building.
I’m sure my grandfather would be delighted with the job CR Smith have done.
