CR SMITH has been a well established company in the glazing industry for several generations. It has been privately owned by Gerard Eadie for over thirty years , specialising in the manufacture and installation of PVCu or hardwood windows, doors and conservatories.

Our People
We employ only the best people who understand the importance of doing things right in order to achieve customer satisfaction and generate recommendations. We employ our own craftsmen, who are fully qualified in their respective trades. They work to a strict code of practice and are highly trained in customer care and health & safety regulations. They will arrive in our famous blue and white van, wearing the company’s corporate work-wear. Installations Managers carry out regular site inspections to ensure our rigorous standards are being upheld.
Our Products
Our unique products are designed and tested to BSi standards, produced at our manufacturing plant in Cowdenbeath and are available in a variety of styles, finishes, colours and prices to suit our customers’ requirements. They have been designed to cope with the Scottish climate and comply with current building regulations. Our product development programme is ongoing in the interest of continuous improvement.
Our Service
CR SMITH is structured to ensure that:
- our customers receive the products which are most suitable for their property
- all products are manufactured to specific, individual measurements and to BSi standards
- all products are successfully installed and comply with current Building Regulations
- All products are guarantee for a period of ten years from the date of the installation.
To achieve this we provide the services of product design, a manufacturing surveyor, architects department, installation teams, associated trades and customer service department.
We also prepare and submit applications for the necessary statutory consents, and are licensed to assist with the financing of the project.
Our Suppliers
We have a strict procedure for the assessment and selection of our suppliers. We only deal with established, approved suppliers who provide quality assured products and are able to satisfy the company’s standards for quality and service.
Our Guarantee
We never hesitate to honour our obligations under our ten year guarantee, which is issued when the account is settled on completion of the installation. Our customer service department will deal with any queries or arrange remedial visits, if required. Our guarantee is transferable to any new owners of the property within the ten year period.
